Interviews Interviews...INTERVIEWS!!!!!

So I have finally set the ball rolling in regards to the contents of our newspaper, after E-mailing our local Youth project I have arranged for an interview with Nick the Project Manager of it all via the amazing and truley usefull Facebook. Hopefully we will find out more about what he is doing with community and find out how exactly he is benifitting the youth and how he is bringing the arts into our community...
Below is the correspondence between us just as proof that this happening :)

Hi Nick,
My name is Amy Hutchins and I'm a student at West Hatch High School and am currently studying A2 Media Studies ( I'm in sixth Form) As part of our course we have to create a media project choosen by the exam board we are studying from. As someone who is interested in Journalism as a career the ideal choice for me was to create a newspaper.

Ideally this would be aimed at the local youth in our area. The paper itself has an edgier feel to it with colums on music, art and fashion. We also felt it would be ideal to also use this as a chance to find out more about what our local area has on offer for young people.

This therefore brings me to the question of asking whether you would be interested in being interviewed by myself and my course partner. We think the work you are doing now totally encapsulates the ideas that we are trying to conform in our paper.

We were hoping that we could do this as soon as possible as we are on a deadline and anyday after 3.30pm would be ideal. We really hope you can help us.
Yours greatfully
Amy Hutchins

AND THE REPLY :D

Hi Amy,
I'd be more than happy to do the interview - either over the phone, or in person, whatever suits you both ... We're really keen to get some youth Media projects off the ground, here, too - so it would be great to discuss our plans with you, too! If you can visit me (Loughton Library) that would be great ... Tomorrow after 3.30 would be fine - or Monday / Tuesday next week? .... Looking forward to hearing back from you.
Best
