As this magazine is aimed at youth and youth culture we have tried to look into ways of advertising our newspaper. Originally we looked at creating a radio advert and felt that this might be the direction to go in. Now reviewing this we feel that perhaps this was the alternative direction to go in as radio is very limited in its audience and doesn’t perhaps reach a wide audience as many people use things such a mp3’s and iPod’s now days.
Instead we have decided to create fly posters, as these are very aimed at youth culture and feel that these would grab attention also additionally on a cost scale would be an effective way of advertising but also be very low cost.
Furthermore we have also decided to use our photos that we have taken as a sort of a fashion campaign, that will be plastered all over the fly posters and furthermore the newspaper. Also because a new alternative edge that we have decided to add to paper we will also still do a radio advertisement because it will appeal to our musical readers.
