Nme Contents Textual Analysis

· Large banner at the top displaying the logo and the contents label which is in bold and in capital letters and the font is in house style lettering
· Below this there is an large circular banner displaying the free poster section which is a usual code and convention of magazines, the colours and fonts are house style
· Beneath this there is the a large picture which is the main focus of the page, the picture has a very stylised colour theme of black which I believe is to portray the bands image
· Beneath the picture there is the band name in bold letters to add emphasis to the picture also adding further emphasis to this there is the subtext which briefly describes there gig
· Beneath this there is a an advertisement for subscriptions which displays information about the subscription, this is with a text box and all text, font, and colours is house style also their have an overlay of pictures with other magazines
· To the left of page there is band index which is alphabetical order, this whole side margin is purely to help reader navigate to their favourite bands and the colour, text , and font is all house style
· Going back to the top of the page there is an arrow shaped banner that advertises a certain reviewing article
· Going down the right of the page there is the actual contents this is split up by blocked banners which is very stylised and leans towards their house style
· Beneath the banners there is each article and subtext and a page number.

· In the bottom right corner there is text giving the reader extra information on the articles within the magazine

· There is also another arrow shaped banner that portrays another article about gigs
