Audience Analysis

When asking my questionnaire I decided to do it outside of school as I felt it may have been bias as people tend to conform or have very similar views. I did my questionnaire in the style of multiple options as I thought it would be easier to analyse then open ended questions.

These are my findings:

· The age to read music magazines tends to sway more towards a younger audience which I will consider when writing my articles
· Many people when reading magazines mainly read music/gig reviews
· I found that many people are attracted to the magazine because of the cover which I will consider when designing my cover as to make it as appealing and attractive as possible
· I found that a lot of people tend to just browse through a magazine rather than read so I feel that I need to make my double page spread eye catching and interesting
· Further more I found that people tend to want to spend a rather low amount on a magazine

I will take all these things into consideration when creating my magazine and hopefully integrate these opinions and view into my design and creation process.
